SEMCOG University: Invasive Species
Are you interested in learning more about managing invasive species? This SEMCOG University will introduce you to the Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas (CISMAs) comprised of partnerships that work collaboratively to minimize the spread of invasive species in Southeast Michigan. Invasive species best practices, coordination with local governments, and public awareness opportunities will be discussed. A panel of CISMA coordinators will talk about the treatment process, timing and funding, and opportunities for working with local governments.
